For a time, hype videos were all the rage as the upcoming football season approached. Maybe I’m just getting older, maybe they’ve jumped the shark, but they just don’t hit me like they used to. It probably has something to do with none of them being able to tough ol’ A96.
Either way, there are dudes and dudettes still out there making them by the bushels. When I pulled together every video I could find on YouTube last year, I could only scrounge up twelve. This year I’ve been able to find 26 so yeah, people are excited.

I don’t think it’s so much as Jumped the shark as it is making a video editing is far more mainstream.
Music selections in most of these videos isn’t ideal, some videos are just very eh. Our highlight reel selections were kind of poor.
