Jason Dufner, Auburn graduate, and your 95th PGA Championship winner, has been making the rounds on an media tour of New York City today. He’s been spotted at Rockefeller center doing an interview with CNBC and the Golf Channel, atop the Empire State Building, being interviewed by CBS’s This Morning, at Live with Kelly & Michael (although it was Rebecca Romijn and Michael) at the New York Stock Exchange, on the big screen at Times Square, caught rolling the set of NBC Sports Network’s Crossover, and interviewed at Bloomberg News. In all, it made for 10 hours and 12 total interviews.
What was probably the most surprising, and the most entertaining (even if you hate him) was Jason’s stop at the Howard Stern Show. Below is a brief recap of Dufner on the show. I’ve never seen him smile this much. Maybe he knows what’s been on that couch. I don’t know, but here’s the transcript of a little more of the interview where the butt grab heard ’round the world is discussed.
Later he called in for a lengthy interview with the Dan Patrick Show, although it wasn’t Dan Patrick at all. Auburn football was talked about, though.
That was a busy day. Go rest, Jason, and then follow me on Twitter if you don’t mind.
