Ehhhh, Week 6 could’ve been better. It was the two national games that got me. Otherwise, the SEC games were pretty good.

I still have a passing grade overall, but it’s time to get a perfect week. Will it happen this week? Probably not. There are quite a few toss-ups between mid-tier teams. I’ll do my best, though.

South Carolina at Tennessee – What we have here is a team that plays like they can beat anybody and then look like they can’t beat anybody versus a team that looks like they are a slow train bound for bad things. I’ll go with the Cocks.

Vanderbilt at Ole Miss – Both of these teams have been beaten very, very badly in certain games this season, but I feel that Ole Miss has enough on offense to beat a team like Vanderbilt.

Texas A&M at Florida – This is an interesting little game. Texas A&M looks to be slightly improving each week, despite losing to Alabama last week, but it’s at Florida, where I’m sure Texas A&M has rarely played (once, in 1962). But still, Florida is not good.

Missouri at Georgia – Missouri is still the worst team in the SEC, and while I think the hype is a little much, Georgia is one of the best teams in the SEC. But don’t you feel like the #DWAGS are due for a stupid game? I think this will be it, but they’ll still win.

Oklahoma vs. Texas (Dallas, TX) – This game always seems to be pretty weird. This year it’s being played at 2:30 rather than the usual 11 am. Oklahoma should be the better team, but they just lost to Iowa State. Texas seems to be better than they have been, but that’s not very good. I’ll go with the Sooners.

Georgia Tech at Miami – Miami finally broke the streak against a bad Florida State team last week, but they’ll be without four starters this week as the Yellow Jackets come south. As I write this, I’m doing so without my right ring finger because a yellow jacket stung me there today. I hope they lose by 100.
