Over the summer, Aubie was a naughty kitty. In a 10-part video series called The Crystal Capers, he was seen stealing the crystal ball from the BCS trophy and taking it to various spots around Auburn. Those that attended this past weekend’s game got to see the 10th and final installment on the jumbotron.
For those that weren’t able to be there, or gave up on the team during pregame and had already left, here it is:
I must say that seeing Aubie run across the field with that ball gave me chillbumps. When “All I Do is Win” came on the loud speakers I also got this huge feeling of closure. Auburn was basically saying “Here’s the ball, it’s going in the trophy case. Here’s last year’s theme song, it’s going in the vault as well.”
It was the perfect ending to the championship season, and a perfect way to say that while that season will always be there to look back on, it’s time to move on to the next. Whoever came up with this idea, top notch.

I agree with you! Perfect way to start the new season by closing the previous one. It’s going in the trophy case… and it’ll stay theeeere… and it’ll stay theeeere… haha :)
I got kinda scared when Chizik said “Look at me.” Glad I’m not the one in trouble.
WAR EAGLE! I loved Aubie’s antics this summer – and that was the perfect ending to that chapter of Auburn Football! ON TO THIS YEAR – AND WE ARE STILL ALL IN!
If we keep winning games like we did last Saturday might have to revive “All We Do Is Win”. LOL
