While I was busy giving Baby ‘Blogle a bath tonight, I heard my phone ring. I decided I’d get back to it after the cleaning was done. When I got to my phone, I noticed that the call I had missed was from an Auburn number. I listened to the voicemail and the first thing that I heard was the Auburn band playing and a big “War Eagle, this is Tony Barbee”.
I was sure he was calling me to let me have it after my tweeted displeasure with the coaching search, but I soon realized that it was only a recording. The rest of the message was letting me know that the Auburn Arena will be open to the public on A-Day, April 17th. I’m not sure how Tony got my number, but I thought it was a pretty cool thing for Auburn to do.
Do you want to hear the actual voicemail? Of course you do, and of course I took the time to post it for you. Only the best for the ‘Blogle Nation.

Now we just have to get rid of Tony’s terrible northern pronunciation of Aw(pause)burn.

Very cool act on Auburn’s part and cool that you were able to post the voicemail online. I dunno…just seems like a lot of good things going on at Auburn these days!
