Week 11 Predictions: The Final Quarter

Week 10 was fine. Around 75% of the way through the season I’m at 75% correct with my picks. Do better.

Last Week: 5-3 (62.5%)
This Week: 0-0 (0.0%)
Overall: 75-25 (75.0%)

We have six more games that include SEC teams this week. Five teams are off and Ole Miss is playing outside the conference. What’s their problem?

11/8

Georgia at Mississippi State – Dawg on Dawg on action. Georgia is okay. Mississippi State is better than they have been, but this one at 11am kills their vibe. It’ll be cowbell-y, but Georgia will pull away.

Georgia 34, Mississippi State 17

The Citadel at Ole Miss – By playing The Citadel, Ole Miss has officially removed themselves from Playoff contention. That’s the rule.

Ole Miss 56, The Citadel 7

Texas A&M at Missouri – Somehow the Aggies are still undefeated. They beat Notre Dame by 1, Auburn by 6, and Arkansas by 3. It’s coming. And as much as I hate to say it’s coming at Missouri, this is the time.

Missouri 31, Texas A&M 28

LSU at Alabama – IT’S THE SUPER BOWL TO END ALL WORLD HUNGER PART SEVENTEEN. No, it’s not. LSU hasn’t been good since Bo Nix should’ve beaten Joe Burrow in Baton Rouge. This is not a big game.

Alabama 28, LSU 7

Florida at Kentucky – Florida doesn’t have a coach. Thanks to beating Auburn, Kentucky still has a coach. They probably won’t after Florida beats them by 24.

Florida 31, Kentucky 7

Auburn at Vanderbilt – Check back later for my prediction in the game preview, but SPOILER ALERT: interim coaches usually do pretty well in their 1st game because nobody has a clue what to expect.

Other Games of Note

BYU at Texas Tech – This should never, ever, ever, be a Top 10 game, and it is. College football is terrible this year. I love NIL and the transfer portal.

Texas Tech 34, BYU 21

Oregon at Iowa – Has anybody checked Oregon’s resumé? They beat Penn State in overtime. Penn State hasn’t won a game since. They lost by 10 to Indiana. The rest of the way, they’ve beaten the bottom third of the Big Ten. They’ve literally done nothing, but they’re in the Top 10. And Iowa is ranked. Did I say college football is terrible?

Oregon 23, Iowa 13

Now that you know who will win, head on over to the 2025 War Blogle Pick ’em and get your picks in. There will be weekly prizes and an overall winner at the end of the season. It’s easy. Do it.
