With Auburn leading the series 61-25-2, I’m not really sure you can call this rivalry, but there is definitely no love lost between these two games. Whether it was Tommy Tuberville and Jackie Sherrill going at it, or the Cam Newton saga, there’s plenty of reasons to hate.
As always, we’ll start with the few bad plays or games from the series. Given that lopsided record, there aren’t that many.
There have been some very big and very satisfying wins for Auburn over Mississippi State, though. Sometimes it’s just good to remind a team that THEY ARE… Mississippi State.
Oh, and just for fun, here’s Stingray. He’s an Alabama graduate (those exist?) that pulls for Mississippi State (why?). He doesn’t like Auburn.
