First Two Gametimes Set and Other News

From ledger-enquirer.com:

The kickoff times and the TV assignments for the first two games of Auburn’s upcoming season have been set.

The opener against Louisiana Tech on Sept. 5 will start at 7 p.m (6 CDT). It will be televised on ESPNU.

The kickoff time for the Mississippi State at Auburn game on Sept. 12 will also be at 7 p.m (6 CDT). It will be televised on FSN.

The Tigers’ third game of the year, a Sept. 19 tilt against West Virginia at Jordan-Hare, was previously announced as a 7:45 p.m. ET start. It will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2.

This just shows how good the new ESPN deal is going to be. When have you ever seen Auburn play La. Tech without having to pay $39.99? Some people will have to pay their cable or satellite provider a little extra a month to pick up ESPNU, but it’s a lot better than paying forty bucks for one game.

In other news, Auburn Basketball has been ranked 4th in the nation…seriously. No, really. I’m not kidding. Auburn Basketball has been ranked 4th in the nation in terms of media guides. What an honor

It’s starting to get real: 45 days to kickoff and Media Days are here. More to come once that gets good and going. And by the way, this is WarBlogle.com’s 100th post…it’s all because of you.

Who cares. Florida is the best team in the country no doubt. I mean Alabama will always be a great team because they continually win a NC in recruiting every year. The ESPN deal is awesome though. The SEC is the best conference anywhere in anything.
