Week 8 Recap
- Georgia Tech to Win. I bet $2k on it. So obvious. I seriously don’t know how anyone missed that. If this is my friend who is reading this, I told you so.
- Vanderbilt to Win. A bet on Vandy is a bet on Pavia. I don’t like to bet against Pavia. He feeds off of it, the Tom Brady, Michael Jordan thing…he has that. Is he that talented? No. But he’s a dawg.
- Ole Miss to cover -6.5 & Georgia to Cover: Great odds paying on Ole Miss paying out around +400. I was able to risk $250 for a $1000 win. I laid down $500 on Georgia to cover, which paid $1000. If one of those two likely outcomes happens…it did. Math is fun.
- Ohio State Over. I needed help on that one. Didn’t do the homework I needed to do here. Lost $1000
- Indiana Over. Cignetti dropped another badass game. No turnovers, no punts, no missed field goals. Hoosiers basically score every time. I lost by .5 points. Wisconsin missed a 40yd field goal. Blame the badgers? I lost $1000. Bad beat? I don’t think so, just didn’t work out.
- Tenn/Bama Under. I really didn’t know what to do here so I hit up Blogle. He said take the under. I was feeling great about how I was doing at that point and dropped $1000. It hit. Nice.
- Miss State to Win. They had the ball 00:29 seconds left. In field goal range…inside the 30. It’s gonna work! Killer odds…paying +250. Then, it happened, interception thrown to the Florida DE. It killed me. I died a little bit. Mississippi State is close, he’s gonna win 9 and leave.
- Auburn to Win. Yep, we lost. I lost $2500. Fire Hugh NOW, it’s over. I was willing to wait until I lost money. Mullen, Sumrall, Golesh. That’s the list. I will not comment on that again here.
I lost $2,000 but I feel as though I didn’t miss a pick outside of Ohio State. Not a single pick. I was doing great most of the day til Hugh got scared and called a draw in OT. I just removed a rant that was in this place. It wasn’t nice. I am not a fan and I think he’s soft.
Week 9 Picks
I’m short on time this week/weekend. The Algo is very tight this week. Not much action from me today. Here’s the rundown on what’s on my radar:
Ole Miss v. Oklahoma
No brainer. I’m gonna win on Lane at some point. I locked in $1000 on Ole Miss money line last night. Checking spread props in game. Love the Under here. More defensive than expected.
UCLA v Indiana
I locked in my spread yesterday afternoon. I do not see Indiana winning by 26 points. I’m on UCLA to cover. I have added the over.
Auburn v Arkansas
No bs…I hope we lose and Hugh gets fired. I’m taking Arkansas to win. Could be a track meet Arkansas can score points. Defense is a mentality, I don’t like what I’ve heard this week from the locker room. Hugh is coaching for his job. In game props are your friend.
Alabama v South Carolina
Largest bet of the day on Bama to cover -11.5 and I’m on the Over here. Bama is padding stats to get Simpson a Heisman.
Minnesota v Iowa
Under.
Mizzou v Vandy
I’m riding Pavia. Vandy to cover -3.5. Will check alternate spreads but it’s a close line so probably no advantage here
Baylor v Cincinnati
Over
Wisconsin v Oregon
Over
Texas A&M v LSU
TAMU will win this game, money line is a solid bet. TAMU to cover -6.5 may give enough room to hedge with LSU money line. Algo saying Aggies by 10. Undecided on points but leaning under here.
Tennessee v Kentucky
Stoops has the best job in college football period. $10M a year to seem relevant. I’d take that in a heartbeat. Heupel runs up the score on em today but I’m taking UT to cover -7.5
Penn State v Ohio State
PSU is down a coach up against the Death Star who is at home at night. Could get out of hand. Depends on how my morning goes. May stay away here.
Georgia v Florida
Gonna be an absolute bloodbath. Georgia -7.5 is a layup. Steer clear of the O/U bc the scrubs may go in pretty quickly.
