The weather was nearly perfect. Tailgating was slow until around 11 or 12. The Blogles were the only family in the entire amphitheater for about an hour. It was a fine day. There seemed to be a lot of people in town. And then once I got in, I realized a lot of people didn’t show up. Little did I know that some other people didn’t show up either. So I had to let durr hurr Twitter have it after the game. Follow me.

Bear’s replacement on @CollegeGameDay picked Arkansas -2 last week. This week he says Auburn is overlooking New Mexico State. Bring back Bear.

They called it “external expectation” in this @CollegeGameDay feature on Bo Nix. What they meant was “booing idiots that will never be satisfied nor will they ever admit being wrong.” #auburn #wareagle

4 plays.

The ‘run around until somebody is open’ offense surely has had no penalties. The team that should win by 50 can only gain yards or stop that team with illegal help. For sure.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 18, 2023
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen something so obvious.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 18, 2023
Welp, Auburn finally has their UL-Monroe moment. Of course, New Mexico State is going to their conference championship, and isn’t a middle of the pack Sunbelt team, and Freeze didn’t pull a guy off suspension midgame to try and not let it happen. But go ahead, have your fun.

Y’all think this was a year for doing something? We’re just trying to get to a bowl and ruin seasons. This is setting up for one of the all time troll jobs.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 19, 2023
I’ve seen every team in the SEC lose these types of game many times. Every team. What was Auburn’s before this? South Florida in 2007 when they went up to #2 that year? We were due a dumb one and this was the year to have it.

Sorry, I meant to say Nick Saban was 1-5 after the Iron Bowl. I forgot they vacated 5 of their wins due to cheating. https://t.co/h8ouuL7jHP

That loss was entirely an effort problem amplified by really weird officiating (flags galore, non-reviews, the fumble) with nearly perfect playcalling and draining the clock from the other side. Auburn barely had the ball. Players said the game just felt weird. It did.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 19, 2023
That said, I know the world is ending, but it would be smarter to look at the majority of the last month other than one game/week where multiple teams had issues getting up for a game. In Auburn’s case, it bit them.
Not sure, but we probably won’t have that issue next week.

Therefore, if you think I’m going into ‘Thanksgiving/Iron Bowl in Auburn week’ with any less excitement to experience the spectacle and pull for a win than I did before today, you got the wrong Blogle. Remember, weird things happen at Jordan-Hare, right?
