As has been the case for weeks now, Auburn came into this game with a target on their back. Vanderbilt came into this game following a win over TCU and a close overtime loss at Kentucky.
For a while it looked like the best team in the SEC playing the worst team in the SEC, but teams like Vanderbilt can hit threes in bunches, and that’s what they did. Nevertheless, the lead got up to 22, and at one point got down to 7, but Auburn controlled the game from start to finish.
