When you go 8-0 one week you have to back it up with a week where you barely get over .500. You just have to. It’s in the prediction post rules. So I followed the rules. But really, we’re starting to get to some good football, although the Mississippis took the week off.
This Week: 4-4 (50.0%)
Last Week: 5-4 (55.6%)
Overall: 79-30 (72.5%)
11/8
Georgia at Kentucky – Hey look, Georgia is playing a noon game. That’s never happened before. Seriously, do they not let them play at night because half the team has a curfew? The DWAGS were blown out by one of the worst teams in the SEC last week. That same team beat Kentucky in 3OT. What does that mean? Yep. Georgia’s losing to Kentucky in the midday sun.
Kentucky 31, Georgia 28
Georgia 63, Kentucky 31 – FAILURE
Presbyterian at Ole Miss – Oh come on.
Ole Miss 56, Presbyterian 0
Ole Miss 48, Presbyterian 0 – SUCCESS!
UT-Martin at Mississippi State – Seriously?
Mississippi State 38, UT-Martin 7
Mississippi State 45, UT-Martin 16 – SUCCESS!
Florida at Vanderbilt – The new best team in the SEC East travels to Nashville to take on the Commodores if front of a raucous fan. They will struggle because that’s Florida this year.
Florida 24, Vanderbilt 10
Florida 34, Vanderbilt 10 – SUCCESS!
Alabama at LSU – IT’S THE GAME OF THE CEN… nope. An Alabama team with two wins over teams with a winning record travels to Baton Rouge to take on a resurgent LSU team. Are the Bengal Tigers good enough to beat the Tide? I think so. Will they? Probably not. The world isn’t that perfect.
Alabama 24, LSU 14
Alabama 20, LSU 13 – SUCCESS!
Texas A&M at Auburn – Check my game preview later today for my score prediction. SPOILER ALERT: Not 2012.
Auburn 49, Texas A&M 17
Texas A&M 41, Auburn 38 – FAILURE
Other Games of Note
Kansas State at TCU – The Horned Frogs beat West Virginia on a last second field goal. Kansas State lost to Auburn only because they missed field goals. But they really counted, so in a 5th dimension, they actually won that game. TCU needs to lose. Why? Because I want them to.
Kansas State 31, TCU 30
TCU 41, Kansas State 20 – FAILURE
Ohio State at Michigan State – Remember this game last year? It meant a little something. It really shouldn’t have, but it did. This year it only means anything because it has something to do with a Big 10 team being in the playoff, which they will lose in the first game in horribly embarrassing fashion.
Ohio State has been a little better since they lost to Scot Loeffler’s awful Virginia Tech offense, but Michigan State has at least played a team. They’ll win.
Michigan State 31, Ohio State 21
Ohio State 49, Michigan State 37 – FAILURE
Now that you know who will win, head on over to the 2014 War Blogle Pick ’em and get your picks in. There will be weekly prizes and and overall winner at the end of the season. It’s easy. Do it.

Remember when bama beat Arkansas by one point? LSU is better than the Hogs. The red team is on upset alert.
Couple things. Quan Bray is a handful to tackle and I hope we get him 6-8 touches per game. Adds another dimension to the O. Artis Payne is playing better and better. Nick Marshall is amazing. Still hope to see Roc get more touches also. WDE State of Auburn
You were close on that UGA pick.
