The Auburn Emporium’s Pick Six – Week 3

Another incredible week of college football is almost here and I’m picking six matchups from across the college football world. After two weeks, my record is now 7-5 after going 4-2 on my predictions in week two.

If you want to watch my predictions or see other Auburn content, make sure you follow my TikTok page. Here are my predictions for week three!

No.11 Clemson Tigers at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets | 11:00am CT ON ESPN

Clemson faces a tough test in the ACC this weekend when they travel to face their rival Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The Tigers have gotten off to a shaky start with a loss to number three LSU and a difficult win over Troy after trailing at halftime. The Yellow Jackets have started the season well with a big road win at Colorado and a home victory over Gardner Webb. I worry about Clemson and their offensive struggles. They looked sluggish in their loss to LSU and in the first half on the Troy game. I believe Georgia Tech and Haynes King will get the victory and Clemson’s struggles will continue. My Prediction: Georgia Tech

No.18 South Florida Bulls at No.5 Miami Hurricanes | 3:30 CT on the CW Network

Fresh off a shocking upset of the Florida Gators, the South Florida Bulls face yet another in-state foe this week in the fifth ranked Miami Hurricanes. The Bulls are ranked for the first time since 2008 when they were as high as number two in the AP poll. This week they face Carson Beck and a Miami offense that is coming off a 45-3 win over Bethune Cookman. I think this will be a tough game in the first half, but I expect Miami’s talent to be too much for this South Florida team. My Prediction: Miami

Duke Blue Devils at Tulane Green Wave | 7:00pm CT on ESPN2

After falling to Illinois at home last week, Duke looks to bounce back on the road at Tulane. The Green Wave have been off to a hot start with victories over Northwestern and South Alabama. Duke was blown out at home to Illinois but did show some fight early in the game. I think the struggles will continue for Duke this week and Tulane will win. My Prediction: Tulane

No.16 Texas A&M Aggies at No.8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish

In a rematch from last season, the Texas A&M Aggies look to avenge their loss from last year when they travel to South Bend. Notre Dame already dropped their first game of the year to Miami but look to prove that   they are yet again a contender for the college football playoff. I think Texas A&M has yet to prove themself this year and I think they will have difficult time on the road in that environment. My Prediction: Notre Dame

USC Trojans at Purdue Boilermakers | 2:30pm CT on CBS

A battle of undefeated BIG 10 teams in West Lafayette features Purdue and USC. Both teams are coming off wins in the first two weeks but the biggest difference to me is how they won. USC has scored 59 and 73 points in their first two games while Purdue has scored 31 and 34 points. In week two they won that game by just 17 points over Southern Illinois. Because of this, I like USC because I think their offense will continue to score in bunches even on the road in a tough environment. My Prediction: USC

Minnesota Golden Gophers at California Golden Bears | 9:30pm CT on ESPN

This may be the most biased pick I have the whole season but I cannot pick California because they have Brian Harsin on their coaching staff. He ruined Auburn and was a terrible hire and I think he was a bad hire for Cal too. I believe Minnesota will get it done on the West Coast and improve to 3-0 on the season. My Prediction: Minnesota
