When kickoff is at 11am, pregame tweets are light. When it’s a windy torrential rain for the first half, in-game tweets are light. I didn’t even get in my customary “Lehgo” right before kickoff. But then the 2nd half happened, the family left me at the game, and the sun came out, so I was able to fire off a few more tweets as Auburn let everybody on the sideline play. By the time the day was over, it almost felt like bye-week that included a win. Follow me.

Halftime thoughts: @SECNetwork should have more commercials, give the starters one scoring drive in the 3rd, we made a field goal. #auburn #wareagle #BeatSamford

Wil Appleton is in to play QB. Bo Nix just told Cord Sandberg he’d signal the plays in. Cord was like… #auburn #wareagle #BeatSamford pic.twitter.com/YiGK9UzH7A

Auburn beats Samford 52-0. I predicted 55-3. Both teams missed a field goal. I don’t claim to be smart. I claim to be almost psychic. #wareagle #DidBeatSamford pic.twitter.com/TkxMGgfyWP

While not as much of a torrential downpour, today’s rain was much worse and much more consistently miserable than 2009 West Virginia.
Somebody that is not here will argue with me about this. #auburn #wareagle #BeatSamford

Favorite thing of the day was watching Wil Appleton fist pump like he had just thrown a touchdown pass against Alabama after a 13 yard pass late in a 52-point win. He and the other walk-ons put in work, too, and it was good to see him get some. #auburn #wareagle #DidBeatSamford

Auburn beat Samford by 52.
Samford beat Western Carolina by 18.
This means Auburn would beat Western Carolina by 70.
Alabama only beat Western Carolina by 63 (and let them score).
The Iron Bowl just comes down to math. #wareagle

Auburn has scored 50+ points 4 times this season. The 2017 team did it 2 times. The 2016 team did it 4 times. The 2013 team did it 3 times. The 2010 team did it 6 times. The 2004 team did it 1 time. #wareagle

The Oregon Duck and Arizona State Sun Devil were just playing rock-paper-scissors on the sideline and it reminded me of the time that @AubietheTiger01 jumped off the cheerleader stand to take out the Vanderbilt Commodore. Then the SEC banned that type of stuff. #auburn #wareagle
