Auburn led Southern Miss 14-3 with 4:27 left in the 2nd quarter. Then lightning struck a few miles away. Then it struck again, and again, and then there was a monsoon. Then nearly 3 hours later, the two teams slopped around on a sloppy field, scoring 10 points a piece. The non-sloppy part was apparently enough. Only took 6 hours.
