Highlights of Auburn’s 89-88 Win Over Xavier

What happens when Auburn gives away 1,000 Bruce Pearl bobbleheads and releases a new intro video before the same game? Auburn basketball beats Xavier 89 to 88. That’s five times in the Sweet 16 and twice in the Elite 8 in the last ten years, Xavier. Auburn beat them. In double OT. Look.

I love watching highlights like this as it offers such a concentration of awesomeness all in one place. Among many things, watching all of those shots from KT bombing from the outside after his jukes, fakes and stutter steps is just a thing of pure beauty. Other teams watching this are going to be all over him like a cheap suit in the rain, but he is still going to be a threat with the way that we are moving the ball around “Harlem Globetrotter style”. I can’t help but be really excited about the potential of this season and I can’t believe I’m saying that. I think CBP is pleasantly surprised and trying his best to keep a poker face. Trayvon coming off the bench and giving Cinmeon help underneath is going to yield BIG dividends. And then there is Canada evolving right before our very eyes. Merry Christmas AU Hoop fans. Our cup runneth over. This is the beginning of something very special.

So excited about Trayvon. Will be an asset this year, the potential of becoming a beast with added off-season weight, but he could be a true force in coming seasons. (Round Mound of Rebound potential with polar opposite body types) I’m truly trying not to let my expectations get to high for this season, tough being a homer, but I can’t help but be stoked for seasons to come.
We have a lot to be excited about, as Auburn fans, in the coming seasons (all sports). It’s Great To Be An Auburn Tiger!!!

War Eagle, and yes I believe there is lots to be excited about on the Plains. The basketball program is headed in the right direction, and can’t help but be excited about the new DC. Coach Pearl, thank you! Coach Malzahn, thank you! And best of luck to my friend Sammie! Would have been great to have you one more season but I hope you rock the NFL brother.
