I had the “luxury” of watching this one from my recliner, and aside from throwing a few routes to the kids around lunchtime, I spent most of the day in the same spot. That meant tweets of ESPN’s College Gameday and hard-hitting analysis of games before and after the epic showdown in Oxford were aplenty. For the first time this season, I watched a game at home and Auburn won. Yay. Follow me.

Kirk Herbstreit says that if Auburn beats Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama all on the road, get rid of the playoff and give them the trophy.

If the guest picker for @CollegeGameDay isn't Jesco White, everything is wrong about their trip to West Virginia. http://t.co/lyi8HCetT8

The entire @CollegeGameDay crew, minus Brad Paisley, picks Auburn to beat Ole Miss. #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
Ole Miss has beaten Auburn 5 out of the last 30 games. Only 1 of those 5 came against an Auburn team that won more than 5 games.

There is a plan in the works to get the “State of Auburn” shirt available to the public next week. #wareagle pic.twitter.com/h4gD4lpXzM

I’d like to think ESPN for giving me the opportunity to be on today, but when should I expect the check? #auburn pic.twitter.com/242zKhoQYx

Looks like Auburn is going with white uniforms today. WE @AuburnPix: Finishing touches #WarEagle pic.twitter.com/AxSdNWnnl5

Curtis Luper’s son of TCU just let a kickoff bounce in front of him, giving the ball back to West Virginia, already up 7-0.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
Two are gonna be on the sideline? WE @MrCFB: What’s going to happen when Chubb, Gurley, and Sony Michel are all ready to go for Georgia?
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
So really Georgia is pretty good at running the ball sometimes, and that’s pretty much it. Like overall and everything.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
All reports from Oxford say there’s lots of Auburn up in there. #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
Georgia probably should’ve self-reported Gurley’s rule-breaking a few games earlier so that they could’ve had him back for the Florida game.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
Pretty sure this was about me. WE @firewillheath: It’s really too bad Facebook doesn’t have a “Hell no” option for friend requests.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
I just took a shower to watch the Auburn game in my recliner. Who’s with me?! #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
Alright, time to end this Mississippi dream. Lehgo. #auburn #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
Pretty sure that was the first review that has gone in Auburn’s favor all season. Near flawless drive by Auburn there. 7-0. #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 1, 2014
That was Nick Marshall's first true interception of the season. #auburn
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
So far there have been two penalties that were not announced on the broadcast at all. Oh, and about 15 that shouldn't have been broadcasted.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
Yes, meaning a true badly thrown ball. Not tipped, not due to his arm being hit. WE @MattScalici: @WarBlogle meaning non-tipped?
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
There were 8 penalties in the Auburn-South Carolina game. There have been 10 in 1.5 quarters of the Auburn-Ole Miss game. Consistent.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
This officiating crew is really taking "you could call a penalty on every play of a football game" to heart. #auburn
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
Auburn's pass rush is tons better this game, but the rush needs to turn into sacks. No reason for Bo Wallace to be able to run out of that.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
You have to admit that Ole Miss's defense really settled in after the first drive. Had nothing to do with all those 1st & 25s and 2nd & 22s.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
HE TOUCHED HIS SHOULDER.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
That measurement tells you everything you need to know about this officiating crew. #auburn
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
NOPE, @ESPN. pic.twitter.com/7rd2LApzU6
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
I'm sorry about his leg, but that is a fumble. No touchdown. Our ball.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
BOOM! Auburn beats Ole Miss (and 9000 penalties) 35-31. One down. #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
Y'all realize that last play would've been a penalty had Bo's 2nd pass been caught. Dumb Bo. #auburn
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
"We KILLED Ole Miss… and Bad Bo." –@BabyBlogle https://t.co/IhUzZJUD2X
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
Let's get this out of the way before anybody starts: had Ole Miss scored instead of fumbling, Auburn had 1:30 to score. That's like 10 yrs.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
What I love about Auburn's O is that the running game is mostly unstoppable, but when it's not, Nick buys time, chunks it, and it's caught.
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
So South Carolina just blew a late lead and lost to Tennessee in OT. I guess they didn't go for every 4th down tonight. #auburn
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
One of my favorite things is listening to @PaulEllen1's recaps of games with @VoiceofAUTigers's calls on the big plays. #auburn #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
But really, Nick Marshall and probably Cameron Artis-Payne should be somewhere in the Heisman top 5 or so. #auburn
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
Using current rankings, Auburn has beaten the #4 and #9 teams on the road. Anybody else close to that? #wareagle
— War Blogle (@WarBlogle) November 2, 2014
7-1 and that's alright. War Damn Eagle and goodnight! #auburn #bedtimepoetry
