AUBURN CAUGHT STEALING! (runs from Ole Miss)

Yesterday, Auburn baseball defeated #18 Ole Miss by a score of 5-4 (recap), also winning the series. The game included awful umpiring, a coach ejection, excellent relief pitching, timely homeruns, and timely homerun robbing. In fact, Auburn’s right-fielder, Hunter Kelley, robbed dos (it was Cinco de Mayo, had to).

That’s a major feat itself, but you may also remember that Auburn’s left fielder, Cullen Wacker, robbed an Ole Miss homerun in a game last season as well. Why are the Tigers such thieves of the Rebears? At least six runs have been stolen in just three simple catches. Future ESPN headline: MORE THIEVERY ON THE PLAINS.

Beautiful. Beautiful!!

Seriously. Two in one game? Ridiculous. One of the all time most exciting defensive plays in the game of baseball if not all of sport. Wish I could have been there to see it first hand but thanks for sending this out.
