The LSU Review: Not A Good Day

😞 HOW I’M FEELING
Not great, Bob. Aside from a fairly close 1st quarter, the rest of it was just a boring blob of nothing. The two teams tied 7-7 in the 2nd half, but the 1st half was enough. Sure, there were some calls that absolutely directed the course of the game, but the damage was done.
👍 WHAT I LIKED
Nothing.
👎 WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
Everything.
👀 WHO STOOD OUT
Golfer Jackson Koivun was introduced during a timeout. He got the biggest ovation of the day.
🤔 STILL THINKING ABOUT…
That missed pass interference call and that overturned interception. When national outlets that have been known to have zero love for Auburn calls it pass interference, it’s pass interference. If that’s called, Auburn has 1st down inside the 5-yard line and would likely take a 7-3 lead.
As for the interception, it was called on the field and then was overturned without indisputable evidence. LSU went on to score a touchdown on the drive and take a 17-3 leader. If the rule was correctly followed, that takes a touchdown away from LSU. Pair it with the missed pass interference, and you’re looking at 10-10 instead of 17-3.
It is very stupid to pretend the game would go exactly like it did the rest of the way if these plays were called correctly. These plays gave LSU a 14 point lead. Given the 2nd half was a 7-7 tie, the score would’ve been a lot closer and not the massacre that appeared to happen.
😬 STILL WORRIED ABOUT…
The offensive line. There’s not much else to say.
📈 DID ANYTHING CHANGE?
Not really. It’s a dumb year that might be the new norm. Every team can win or lose every single game. Auburn beat Georgia. That did not change.
