Blogle’s SEC Picks, 2026 Edition: Week 7

The weeks that are the most fun to watch are the weeks where the picks don’t go the best. That was last week.

Aside from Texas A&M removing themselves from national championship consideration by playing The Citadel, everybody else is playing league action. Looks to be a good one.

😴 SHOULD BE OVER EARLY – If this is close in the fourth quarter, somebody’s fired.

👀 KEEP AN EYE ON ‘EM – Predictable, but there’s a chance.

Mississippi State at LSU (11 AM, ESPN) — The hype is mostly gone from these two, but one has to win.
Purple Tigers 27-23

Kentucky at Oklahoma (6:30 PM, SEC) — Both won games last week that have tricked people mightily. Neither is great.
Sooners 17-13

🍿 WORTH WATCHING – Actual football games between actual football teams.

Florida at Texas (11 AM, ABC) — Last week was tough for these two. Both can look good, both can look bad. Texas has looked the least bad?
Longhorns 34-24

Missouri at Ole Miss (2:30 PM, SEC) — Of every game this week, this one deserves to be on SEC Network the most. Ole Miss big.
Rebels 45-20

Alabama at Tennessee (2:30 PM, ABC) — I think we’ll see that Alabama is not great because I don’t think Tennessee is that great. And it will be close.

🏆 GAME OF THE WEEK – (it’s always the Auburn game)

Auburn at Georgia (2:30 PM, ESPN) — I’ve seen tougher situations.
Tigers 20-17

📺 BEYOND THE SEC – I guess they play football elsewhere.

Ohio State at Indiana (11 AM, FOX) — About ready for this to be a known blowout again.
Buckeyes 34-20

Notre Dame at BYU (6:30 PM, ABC) — This game is at night by itself while the SEC has at least three marquee matchups playing in the afternoon. It will suck.
Irish 28-20
