Week 10 Predictions: Remember November

Week 9 was a good one. Yes, it was an easy one, but it was still a good one.

Last Week: 7-1 (87.5%)
This Week: 0-0 (0.0%)
Overall: 75-30 (71.4%)

It could be another one of those easy ones again, but it likely won’t be. I’m just glad Alabama and LSU are off to setup another massive battle that could affect all of humanity.

11/2

Ole Miss at Arkansas – The Rebels have been less impressive once they started playing teams with a pulse. The Hawgs destroyed Mississippi State last week. In fact, their last five games have gone win, loss, win, loss, win. So that means it’s time for an Arkansas loss.

Ole Miss 31, Arkansas 21

Maine at Oklahoma – It’s gotten bad for the Sooners. They haven’t won in a month, so now they’re scheduling Maine to get a win. It’s sad, really.

Oklahoma 34, Maine 7

Florida vs. Georgia (Jacksonville, FL) – Florida isn’t good. Georgia isn’t elite, but they’re much better than Florida. Also, it’s dumb that this game is played in Jacksonville ever year.

Georgia 31, Florida 13

UMass at Mississippi State – The only positive to this is that Mississippi State was able to talk the Minutemen into traveling to Starkville. Missouri couldn’t even do that.

Mississippi State 45, UMass 10

Texas A&M at South Carolina – Two programs with perennial knee-jerk overhype face off in the city stadium a week after the Aggies were vaulted to superiority for beating a fine (and nothing more) LSU. The Gamecocks will be rocking with their non-school specific pregame song pumping throughout the non-campus stadium, but Texas A&M is better, and that’s not saying anything.

Texas A&M 34, South Carolina 17

Kentucky at Tennessee – The Wildcats are done. Basketball season starts this week. Tennessee will roll.

Tennessee 38, Kentucky 10

Vanderbilt at Auburn – Check back later for my prediction in the game preview, but SPOILER ALERT: it’s Vandy, nothing more.

Other Games of Note

Ohio State at Penn State – The Buckeyes have looked less impressive the last two weeks, with a loss to Oregon and a very close, lackluster win against Nebraska. Penn State is undefeated, but they aren’t blowing bad teams out. It’ll be a good old-fashioned Big Ten slobberkno…ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ……

Penn State 17, Ohio State 13

Pitt at SMU – Pitt is undefeated? SMU is 7-1? Who knew? Who cares?

Pitt 27, SMU 21

Now that you know who will win, head on over to the 2024 War Blogle Pick ’em and get your picks in. There will be weekly prizes and an overall winner at the end of the season. It’s easy. Do it.
