Sitting just below .500 all-time wins Kentucky’s football team historically has not achieved what their basketball team has achieved. I probably didn’t need to tell you that, but in case you didn’t know, now you do.
Bear Bryant coached there once. As you’d expect, Kentucky claimed the national title for the 1950 season when Bryant was coach even though they didn’t finish #1 in any major poll. This should be the least surprising thing ever.
