We’re getting our first look at the full schedule for Auburn Men’s basketball for the 2024-25 season. This could be one of the toughest schedules in the country this year. The Tigers open with five of ESPN’s preseason top 25 teams. That number could grow to seven, depending on the results of the Maui Invitational. Game one is on November 9th when Auburn faces Houston in the Toyota Center. Houston remains one of the premier basketball teams in the Big 12 and will be a tough task.

The Tigers will then travel to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational. They face Iowa State on November 25th and will play at least one more game against either North Carolina or Dayton. Other teams competing are UCONN, Michigan State, Memphis, and Colorado.
After the holiday break, it’s a trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium to face the Duke Blue Devils on December 4th. Then, Auburn finishes the non-conference schedule against Ohio State in Atlanta and Purdue in Birmingham.
The SEC schedule looks to be yet another gauntlet. Auburn starts conference play at home against Missouri on January 4th. Other notable home matchups include Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, and a regular season finale against Alabama.
The first road game will be in Austin against the Texas Longhorns. Other notable road games include trips to Georgia, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Kentucky. The SEC Tournament will run from March 12th to March 16th with the NCAA Tournament to start the week after.
