I think this was one of Auburn’s only 2:30 kickoffs ever that was not broadcasted by CBS. 2:30 is the worst kickoff time for tailgating. By the time you get lunch down, it’s time to go. At least an 11am kickoff gives you time to tailgate afterwards. A 6pm kickoff is perfect. Why did SEC Network put this game at the exact same time as the Florida-Georgia game on CBS? Holding was the worst consequence for a penalty, but offensive pass interference being 15 yards from the line of scrimmage is ridiculous. Take the pass away and lose a down. Why have what could technically be a 99 yard penalty just because the offense got separation “illegally?”
