Auburn went into their first Maui Invitational with a potential matchup with Duke on the horizon. But first, they had to get past Xavier. You may remember that the Musketeers were a #1 seed in last year’s NCAA Tournament. They played like it at times. Auburn would start to pull away, and then Xavier would come right back. Then Jared Harper showed up and made the 2nd round matchup with Duke a reality.
