With no tailgate and a hotel room less than a mile from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, there was plenty of time to walk around and take in the sights. I spent a good portion of the morning at the SEC FanFare, specifically the AT&T Fan Zone. Played some games, found Scott Van Pelt’s phone, the usual. Then it was game time and it was fun for a bit, then it got dumb, then it was time to reflect. It was a long day, but it had its moments. Follow me.
