The 6 pm tip-off on a Wednesday night kept the crowd from being too large, but for the first time in forever, that didn’t bother Auburn. Georgia shot terribly in the 1st half, and Auburn hit lots of threes, which gave the Tigers the chance to get up by 18 points.
But due to a barrage of desperation threes in the final minute, it got interesting. Like, the lead was down to one point, interesting. But Auburn made their free throws. No, that’s not a joke. Auburn made their free throws and held on for a 3-point win.
