Auburn Ultimate Team Beats Texas, Advances to Final 4

With 55% of the vote, Auburn’s Ultimate Team has beaten Texas in ESPN’s Ultimate Team bracket. It was a hard fought battle that featured many lead changes (not really), but the Tigers eventually came out on top, avenging captain Bo Jackson’s two losses to the Longhorns from his playing days. I’m sure this win heals those wounds.

Auburn now moves on to the Final 4 of the bracket to take on the Florida State Seminoles. Given Auburn’s 13-4-1  record over the Criminoles over the entire series, this should be a no-brainer. But I guess we need to vote anyway. So do just that. At this point it is a dead heat, and this appears to be Auburn’s toughest matchup so far in terms of people who like to vote for stuff on the internet.

The other semifinal matchup is Miami and Nebraska. What is this 1983 all over again? I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but wouldn’t it be nice for Miami to win this week, and for Auburn to beat them in the finals? I’d go take the trophy from Schnellenberger myself. But we’ll worry about that when it gets here. VOTE!

Bo Knows!!! Seriously though, imagine Bo Jackson or Ronnie Brown full speed against Deion Sanders.. or Warrick Dunn full speed against Karlos Dansby.
