Last Saturday night, Philip Lutzenkirchen made one of the greatest plays of the season with his one-handed catch, run, switch hands touchdown. I don’t know how he did it. I can barely hold an officially sized college football in one hand without help. Those things are bigger than you think!
These types of plays have become the norm for Lutzie, but should come as no surprise to anyone who followed him as far back as his days at Lassiter High School. Here he is channeling his inner-Karlos Dansby:
Also, in his last high school football game, he just jumped over some dude on the way to scoring a touchdown. Beast is an understatement.

I remember when that play made it on Sportscenter. I had no idea that was Lutzenkirchen. Cool!
I am so glad this is finally making its way to WarBlogle! I went to Lassiter and I always bring up this play when people ask me about how he played in high school. I just remember the stadium going absolutely NUTS when this happened. War Damn Lutzenkirchen.
I love the little mini-Lutzie he does on the way to the endzone after he jumps over that dude. Lutzie done been havin sweet dance steps since high school!
