I’m not exactly sure of the point of this video. Supposedly the guy with the camera is a Bama fan (and so is the girl next to him), so by recording this conversation it seems like he’s just making fun of what looks to be, but is more than likely not Harvey Updyke outside a Wal-Mart before the 2010 season. Regardless of what’s going on, the amount of stupid flowing from this video is at almost dangerous levels, so watch with caution.
There’s a little language, so go earmuffs on the kids and take a look at the type of person Harvey seems to be when news cameras aren’t around. It’s exactly as you would expect: blah, blah, blah … we’re back … blah, blah, blah … the Bahr is the greatest … blah, blah, blah … said oops up the side head (huh?). Yeah, just watch.
(Props to AuburnTron for the find)

The absolute funniest things about this are that Bear Bryant didn’t break rules and calling Joe Namath an alcoholic and praising BB. I know from a former player under BB that all the good players had cars and cash out the ying-yang. He told me that it was common knowledge, but they all knew that the NCAA wouldn’t touch BB. The surely have made up for that since he left, huh? Also, BB was a raging alcoholic. He would do the “Bear Bryant Show” about to fall off his chair!!! What a joke. I see that
I think I am dumber by listening to that.
Do they actually think that they don’t cheat now and have never cheated before.
contd….I see that Trent Richardson really won that Heisman. Talk about delusional fans!
The funniest thing in the video is when he says Auburn is living in the past. Then he turns around and the verynext thing out of his pathetic mouth is…”this is the good ole days”…”this is like the bear bryant days”. Huh? …Really? Did I just hear that? LMFAO!!! What a dousche bag! Bear was a drunk and Bear cheated his ass off. War Eagle!
Could barely watch. What do you mean ALMOST dangerous levels? Don’t think I am going out on a limb when I say I think we’re there! To take a page from the Dennis Green playbook, “he is exactly who we thought he was” and he has a sibling! Repeat after me, “Oh Brother!”
ha!!! they don’t live in the past at all!! what a video. and this certainly is the norm amongst bammers. it’s not an isolated few that think like these guys. all they’re talking about in this video is the PAST! war damn eagle!! i’d always rather have 2 actual championships than bama’s multitude of claimed championships.
Wait.. He can read?? I think that was the most shocking part of the video.
Hilarious, but I don’t think that’s him. Although it sort of looks like him? He said he played at Huffman (which may or may not be true anyway) but didn’t Updyke go to high school in Florida? And this guy’s voice and drawl seems to be a little deeper than the one from the radio call. Yet, he just acts/sounds like 92% of all the other Alabama fans I have ever met, so it’s all the same to me. Spread the dirt evenly.
The funniest part to me was about Tebow being on the cover of ’11 and how neither could figure out why Ingram wasn’t, other than “he was robbed”. These jackasses are talking about their own, made-up ‘intricacies’ of pro-set offenses or the split-back veer offenses or the Samoan Spike offenses that Nick Saban supposedly has up his ‘scary’ sleeve like they were Pop Warner himself, but they couldn’t seem wrap their heads around the big MYSTERY as to why a current collegiate amateur athlete’s image isn’t on the cover a video game being sold to 2 million people. The Punchline: I wonder what they’re gonna’ think of the potential ’12 cover come summertime?
I kinda’ feel sorry for the quiet, awkward, weird-ed out (though modestly attractive) Bammer girlfriend having to sit through and suffer the ordeal to completion. That shirt looked like her lame boyfriend who probably had BAMA-Bangs just bought it 5minutes beforehand. So have hope, Auburn Men, that she can still be saved. That text she sent at the end said “GET ME THA F’ OUT OF HRR”.
