Week 6 Rankings

One thing that you will notice about the WarBlogle.com Rankings is that from week to week there will be some major changes, and I do mean major. I don’t do the whole “earned spot” thing. If you win, but someone else below you wins bigger, looks better, or pays me more, you will get jumped. I don’t do the the whole “working your way up the polls” thing either. If you are ranked 25th one week and you look like the number one team in the nation the next, you will be number one. This doesn’t mean that I don’t take the whole season into account. For instance, I had a hard time putting Oregon ahead of Boise State based on their head-to-head matchup, but that game was over a month ago. Over the past month, Oregon has beaten two ranked teams and has scored 163 points in four games. This past week, Boise State struggled against UC-Davis. I rest my case. Here are THE rankings:

Again.. Iowa? No. They barely beat a scub team last week. According to your way of doing things they should be dropped out of the top 25.

I know, I know. For some reason I can’t seem to drop them. But I don’t do the whole “you barely won or you lost” so you have to drop thing either. I look at the teams ahead and behind them and ask myself if I think they could beat them. If so, ahead, if not, behind. This year everybody after 4 or 5 is just a big jumbled mediocre mess.
