2009 Football Schedule Released

I see a 12-0 season, but I see that every year. Honestly, at LSU and at UGA are the only ones that worry me at all. Of course that’s in a normal year, unlike this one. And then there’s that epic clash with Furman. Post your thoughts and predictions. I want to see some possible records.

9/5 LOUISIANA TECH
9/12 MISSISSIPPI STATE
9/19 WEST VIRGINIA
9/26 BALL STATE
10/3 at Tennessee
10/10 at Arkansas
10/17 KENTUCKY
10/24 at LSU
10/31 OLE MISS
11/7 FURMAN [HC]
11/14 at Georgia
11/28 ALABAMA

One free post to the person who can tell me the Furman mascot in the next hour without looking it up. If you get it right, I’ll know you did.

Furman’s mascot is the Paladins — I lived in South Ga. for two years, and we covered a good bit of Ga. Southern (whose chief rival is Furman, of course).

That’s a lousy home schedule. I’m guessing there will be plenty late morning games next year.

it’s always that way, one year of awesome, one year of awful, can’t we get ole miss and miss st. on opposite years?

Ole Miss improving, Miss State improving, and Ball State improving could all pose problems for us next season. Hopefully we will solve our offensive issues in time.
