We finally have a week with some heavy SEC-on-SEC matchups. That only makes things tougher, but at least I don’t have to pick a billion games.

Notre Dame at Arkansas – The 1-2, #22 ranked Irish travel to the Hog Slop capital of the world to take on Arkansas. The Fightin’ Sam Pittmans have collapsed the last two weeks and could have had a very different season. The Irish are getting credit for good losses. It will be a close one just because.

Utah State at Vanderbilt – “Not your daddy’s Commodores” continue their murderer’s row proving to the world that they belong. If 70 points on Georgia State last week wasn’t enough, the 27 points on Utah State surely will turn some heads.

LSU at Ole Miss – Can anybody tell me why we think LSU is good? They barely beat a bad Clemson and barely beat a bad Florida. They really didn’t even blow out Louisiana Tech, yet they are ranked #4. Quit trying so hard to make them something they aren’t. Ole Miss will score enough to end this. And then we’ll overhype Ole Miss. No, nobody can win with me.

Tennessee at Mississippi State – We’re excited about Mississippi State being 4-0, aren’t we? Aren’t we?! They’ll get destroyed this week and come back down to Earth.

Alabama at Georgia – Neither are as good as they used to be cause everybody can pay players now. Georgia’s secondary is awful. Alabama’s quarterback has passed a little better since Florida State destroyed him. But I have to go with the home team.

Kentucky at South Carolina – The Gamecocks will get back on the right track with a visit from the basketball school. Surely another Top 10 ranking is coming. Because… sure.

Ohio State at Washington – Hmph, who knew Washington is 3-0? Not me. I forgot they existed, honestly. I guess this is a conference game now, isn’t it? I guess Ohio State is the better team by a lot, but that’s a long way to go. Nah, they’ll win easily.

Oregon at Penn State – WHITE OUT!!!!!! We don’t have a clue how good either of these teams are. One has beaten Montana State, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, and Oregon State. The other has beaten Nevada, Florida International, and Villanova. Elite stuff right there. I guess home team wins.
