Hello fellow degenerates, @beAU here, you’re reading this so that means its Friday. You’ve made it! After a (4-2) week last week, that makes back-to-back winning weeks, and we are feeling all hot and confident. @Chuck drank enough bourbon to fill up a bathtub last weekend, but any who, we’re now out of the hole, sitting at (8-8) on the year. Enough of the chit chat, let’s get to why you’re here. Here are your week 4 winners.
Florida -6 @ Mississippi State
Yeah, this one isn’t really fun for anyone but when you get absolutely smoked by Toledo can you be trusted? Florida has looked less than stellar themselves but have lost to two teams they were supposed to lose to. I don’t think they’ve completely quit on Napier yet. Gators play good enough to cover on the road.
Kansas @ West Virginia -2
What a classic backyard brawl last weekend! West Virginia very easily could have pulled that one off and been sitting pretty. We expect them to bounce back at home this week against a Kansas team that just isn’t what they were supposed to be.
Georgia Tech +10 @ Louisville
This just feels like a lot of points. Louisville has played absolutely nobody, not to mention Georgia Tech has played 4 games to Louisville’s 2. We just think Georgia Tech knows more about themselves than Louisville does. Tech could win this one outright, so we feel pretty good about the 10.
Arkansas @ Auburn -2.5
These are two teams that just seem to not really know who they are yet. Arkansas has looked better than people expected so far these first three games where Auburn has looked arguably a little bit worse than expected. Last year can’t be ignored. Auburn ran Arkansas off the field in Fayetteville. We think Jordan Hare stadium and Hank Brown’s second start will be enough to hold off the Hogs. Will the real Auburn defense please stand up?
Tennessee -6.5 @ Oklahoma
Do we really know anything about these two teams yet? Neither have played a great team yet. The only thing we can really go off of is Oklahoma has looked mediocre against who they’ve played, and Tennessee has absolutely dominated the teams they’ve played. Pure carnage to be exact. I expect this to actually be a football game for 3 quarters, but Tennessee just has too many dudes right now and will pull away late.
Baylor +2 @ Colorado
I don’t think this one needs too much explanation. We’re giving Colorado every opportunity to prove us wrong, but this is a classic “Colorado against a team with an actual coach and actual pulse.” They have yet to win this type of game. Baylor is just better in the trenches than Colorado. Bears win outright.
