Auburn Baseball just announced a return to Arlington, TX to take on three national names at Globe Life Field. In 2022, Auburn started the season by traveling to the home of the Texas Rangers to take on Oklahoma (L, 0-3), Texas Tech (W, 2-1), and Kansas State (W, 12-1).
To start 2025, they will face Ohio State, Oregon State, and Baylor from February 28 to March 2. Oregon State will be looking for revenge from the 2021 Super Regional in Corvalis.
Apparently, Auburn and Ohio State are becoming rivals. The two schools will face off in soccer this weekend. Bruce Pearl will face the Buckeyes in Atlanta on December 14, and now Butch Thompson gets his chance to crack the nuts. Also, don’t forget that Hugh Freeze is working on stealing all of their recruits .
Either way, this will be a nice test and nice boost to the resumé if the Tigers can start the season strong by taking at least two of three.
