From the Other Sideline – Alabama A&M

From the Hill covers anything and everything Alabama A&M Athletics. Their podcast and coverage can be found on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This is my first time interviewing an actual website/podcast, and boy is that thing salty. But they did take my banter and give some right back.

1. What are Alabama A&M fans’ first thoughts of Auburn football right now?

We are thinking about our football team right now, not yours.

2. What’s the vibe like in Huntsville for this football team as it heads into a new season?

The vibe is always good and Huntsville. A lot of people will travel to east Alabama to support the team, band and to tailgate.

3. Auburn is 2-0 against Alabama A&M all-time, with a combined score of 106-7. Even if Auburn’s worst season of the last 50 years (2012), the Tigers won 51-7. There’s no question. I just wanted you to know that.

Alabama beat you 49-0 the following week. I just wanted to remind you of that.

4. Who are your two most favorite Auburn Tigers of all time and why?

Cam Newton and Cadillac Williams.

5. Who are two Bulldogs that Auburn fans should lookout for and why?

Carson Vinson and Donovan Eaglin. Great offensive lineman and great running back.

6. Who are two Auburn Tigers that scare you the most why?

No one.

7. Where do you see each team having an advantage over the other?

Auburn has more depth. Alabama A&M has more heart.

8. What’s your analysis and score prediction for this game?

I predict a land grant institution located in Alabama will win.

9. Have you seen the Marching Maroon & White’s halftime show? If so, how awesome is it?

The Marching Maroon & White has a great march in, halftime show, and gives a great show in the stands! It’s very awesome.

10. The Alabama A&M logo is Auburn’s logo in Alabama colors with an A&M in the spaces. Again, no question, but I just thought it was funny.

The A&M makes that logo look a lot better and it’s not Alabama colors. We are Maroon and White, not Crimson and White.
