Oh baby…. YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS. Guys, we’re back. We are SO back. We survived the long summer and football is finally here. God is good. @Chuck and I want to congratulate all of you for following us these past two seasons and profiting. Life is hard, betting on football games should be fun and easy, right?
That’s why we’re here. Follow Chuck and I weekly and we will provide you with the sauce to make your bookie lose sleep. Ok, that’s enough of that. Let’s dive into why you’re here. Here are your week 1 winners. Again, welcome back…
Clemson vs UGA -11.5
I think a lot of people are overthinking this one. 11.5 seems like a lot of points I’ll give you that, but we think (we know) that Kirby Smart is still quite pissed off at how last season ended. Not to mention they dominate Clemson on paper from a pure talent standpoint. Carson Beck in year two and just flat out having more dudes UGA wins this one pulling away late.
Old Dominion @ South Carolina -21
To us, this just feels like the Arkansas and Missouri games did on Thursday. The talent gap between these two is just too significant. South Carolina could potentially come out slow but we think they’ll end up blowing Old Dominion out once it’s all said and done.
Notre Dame @ Texas A&M -3
You think Kyle Field will be ready for this one? We sure do. Mike Elko making his home debut against a top 10 Notre Dame team is going to have that place going nuts. It’s going to be 1,000 degrees; Notre Dame will be too upset after losing Deuce Knight to Auburn to handle the 12th man. Texas A&M still has some dudes folks.
LSU -4 vs USC
Until USC proves they can stop a high school offense how can they be trusted to win big games. LSU’s defense had plenty of issues on that side of the ball last year themselves but spent all off season addressing them. LSU still has a ton of talent and we just can’t see them losing to this USC team.
Boston College @ FSU -17
Call it a rebound. We don’t think FSU was as bad as they looked in another continent last week. They were replacing some 15 starters from last years team and we expected a few growing pains. With that said, Boston College has yet to play a game and work their kinks out. We think a pissed off Florida State team bounces back in a big way this week.
