It’s officially bowl week. That means Auburn is now in Atlanta preparing for Virginia. That means player interviews. And today, that means quotes and video of Eltoro Freeman.
“The Bull” hasn’t been the greatest player in Auburn history (and he’ll admit that), but he definitely talks and acts exactly like an Auburn Tiger should. He cares about the team, the fans, and the future of Auburn.
In today’s interview, he dedicates his last game to the Auburn fans. Well alright then, I’ll dedicate my sore throat to you ‘Toro. He goes on to say that he may have not hit his goals, but the fact that his relationship with God has grown stronger during his time at Auburn is more important to him. Lastly, he wants the bowl game to set the tone for next year’s team. How many times do you hear that from a guy that didn’t get a ton of playing time that’s also on his way out? Seriously, the dude, the bull, gets it.
Oh, and there was also this and this (0:12 mark). I love you, Eltoro.
